Oxford United hope to register a better campaign during the 2025/26 season. The U's finished 17th overall last season, a performance that was disappointing for Gary Rowett's side. A mixture of results saw them register only 13 wins of the 46 matches, with just two of those victories coming on the road.
With such a disappointing away performance, a new season should herald a fresh start for the U's, who survived relegation by just four points. Oxford United's first away game of the 2025/26 season will be against Hull City on 18 August 2025. Their last trip to MKM Stadium ended in a 2-1 defeat, and they haven't registered a league win on the road against the Tigers. In the same month, they also make a trip to Birmingham's St Andrew's, hoping to get their first away league victory at the venue.
