The 2024/25 campaign was a disaster for Plymouth Argyle, who parted ways with Wayne Rooney by Christmas as they languished at the bottom of the Championship. Miron Muslic nearly orchestrated a miraculous escape, but relegation to League One was sealed on the season’s final day.
After Muslic’s departure to Schalke, Plymouth turned to Tom Cleverley, a former Manchester United midfielder with a solid Watford tenure, to lead their promotion charge.
Supported by their passionate traveling fans, the Pilgrims’ away performances will be vital. Returning to the Championship is the goal, but success depends on recapturing their best form on the road.
