A last-minute attempt to earn promotion to the Championship flopped when Leyton Orient lost 1-0 to Charlton in League One Playoffs. Now, with a new season on the horizon, the O's have known their 2025/26 opponents following EFL's fixture announcement on June 26.
For Leyton Orient, away performance will be critical as they look to execute another promotion strategy. Last season, the O's finished sixth overall, recording the fourth-best away run. At home, they were ranked the seventh-best side. Can they replicate a similar away performance in the 2025/26 season, and get as many points or more than they did on the road last season?
The first away game for the O's will be against Huddersfield Town. Interestingly, it will also be their first outing of the new season on 2 August 2026. Their last trip to The John Smith's Stadium came with good tidings as they won 4-1, so the first fixture of the season, away from home, should come with great expectations. They will then make their second trip to Home Park and Field Mill the same month.
Here, FGG provides a full rundown of Leyton Orient's away fixtures for the 2025-26 League One campaign.
