Stockport County have been on a fairytale run through the EFL in recent seasons, moving from the National League to League One in double quick time.
If it wasn't for Wrexham managing to go one better, then a lot more would have been made about Stockport's rise, and last season, they came close to reaching the Championship before ultimately falling in the playoff semi-finals.
The Hatters are expected to challenge for promotion once again this season, and they have started in decent fashion, picking up 12 points from their first eight matches.
What’s worth mentioning is the fact that Stockport County are not playing particularly well way from home, with the side failing to achieve victory in four of their five matches on the road.
Next up? A trip to the New York Stadium to take on Rotherham United.
